Included you will find:

readme.txt This file
zeus.txt The Zeus Assembler manual
zeus4jlo.sna A snapshot of the modified Zeus Assembler for
                JLO V2.63+ disk systems.
zeus2txt.sna A Spectrum snapshot that converts Zeus source files
                into text

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're not a JLO disk system user, you can grab a copy of the
Spectrum version of Zeus Assembler from one of the Spectrum ftp
sites. The Zeus manual has been transcribed in its entirety in
the file "zeus.txt". The snap "zeus2txt.sna" can be used by
everyone to convert Zeus source files to text files; you may have
to modify the BASIC program a bit to use tape or your mass
storage system as it has been written to run on the JLO disk
system. It starts with the necessary SAVE commands already on the
command line; change them to what your system requires to save
the program to your system if you'd prefer a version in something
other than a snap (a good idea if your running this on a TS2068 as this
snap is a Spectrum snap - saving this to disk will allow you to
run this in Spectrum or TS2068 mode).

The snap "zeus4jlo.sna" is the TS2068 version of Zeus Assembler modified
for the JLO V2.63+ disk system. To get it onto your system, use
'sna2jlo' in TS2068 mode (this is not a Spectrum snap! - you may be
able to run it in Spectrum mode, but it will most definitely crash
if you try to exit to BASIC). You can find 'sna2jlo' by searching
for it with Hynek Med's excellent Spectrum search engine at
http://drson.vse.cz/snapsearch/ This site is only active during part
of the day, so if you can't connect, try another time. Both
"zeus4jlo.sna" and "zeus2txt.sna" were published in the volume 5,
number 3 issue of ZQA (Autumn 1995).

THE NEW ZEUS COMMANDS SUMMARY

After loading the snap, you'll see a message prompting you to type
'C' and ENTER for a command summary. The source code used to modify
Zeus is present in the snap; just type 'O' and enter to list it.

C Configuration. Lists new commands and describes target
         hardware for this version.

MAR x Set printer margin. It's an EPSON command of form 27,77,
         margin.

^C Do a disk catalogue. Only lists potential Zeus files
         (ie only byte files)

  ^D x Change to drive x (0-3)

^E fl Erase byte file with name "fl"

^L fl Load source file with name "fl" at current source address.
You can change the source address with the 'N' command.
If a listing is already present, the loaded file will
be appended and the whole file renumbered.

^S fl Save source file with name "fl"

All printer I/O will be sent to a large printer via the AERCO or
JLO Centronics printer interface.

Zeus now occupies addresses 30000-30625 and 57344-65523.
